At Lux Academy, you must be one of three groups to get into this prestigious school; 1.) Gifted, 2.) Mythic or 3.) Magical. The School is hidden very thoroughly and unless you are destined to find it, it will do you no good to go hunting for this school.
**As a GIFTED, you may be sorted into the following categories: Wards, Minds, Naturalists, Physical and Internal:
**As a MYTHIC, sorting into the following categories may occur: Full, Half, Quarter and the Species. The stronger the amount of blood in a child’s veins determines their complete powers when they come of age (12). Despite the strange Blood Purity like ranking of the school, it doesn’t matter what your blood status is and MOST students will not mind. Full Blooded students are the ones who seems really immortal and they are. Half-blooded students live about 12x the lifespan of a human and the quarter bloods live about 8x as long as a human.
**The last of the children are the MAGICAL. The Magical children are the children who can bend the abnormal, besides their classmates.
Recently, the disappearance of a prized student sends into action a series of events that spell out trouble for the school and all its inhabitants. Especially after he's found in an alley, half dead with torture wounds. Once Recovered, he ends up spouting babble that threatened the entire school as they knew it. The Humans had surrendered to their jealously/scorn. Their Kind, Gifted, Magical and Mythic alike were being hunted.

--Wards are the children and adults who have the ability to control who enters or exits a certain area within their jurisdiction and when properly taught, these people can extend their powers to cover an entire country without breaking a sweat and can strangle people without touching them by merely warding their air ways.
--Minds are the children and adults that control things with, as the group title suggests, their minds. Some can move things without straining their physical bodies while others can invade and implant thoughts into your very mind. Some, very few and very rare, can tell what will happen or what has happened by merely touching something.
--Naturalists are the ones who use the very elements to their bidding. They can easily call for the winds and rain to them, if they element bends to them and will serve them. The elements are extremely picky and rarely do they grant a Gifted Childe their assistance. Most Naturals were originally Mind Children who have been favored by the elements. Few Naturals are actually born with the favor of the elements.
--Physicals are the one who can create or destroy matter with a mere touch or change the compounds of an object. Some Physicals can alter their own body to allow them to phase through an object or become nearly invincible but most Physicals can only change the objects they touch.
--Internals are the one who can use blood and other similar things as their weapon. The most common internal is the Blood Singer. The Blood Singer, if they have just one drop of blood, can use it to create a weapon or a monster. Other internals know the make up of the Human Body so well that they can poison you with a glance by adding something to the air that they themselves are immune to.

--Were-Creatures: Creatures that change only on and during the full moon. They are physically very strong and heightened senses. When they transform, they appear much larger than regular or normal animals. If they bit you, either you’ll die or become a Were-Creature as well. Most people usually die from a bite. Were-Creatures usually have some physical attributes, golden-amber eyes for some, and elongated fangs for others.
--Lycans: though theoretically much weaker than their Were Cousins, the Lycans are a sub-species of were-wolf; the one that cannot change on nights of the Full Moon but rather at will. They lack the brute physical strength that the were-wolf possesses but they are much faster and for flexible. Lycans do not have physical attributes that show that they are what they are. Their bites do nothing but hurt until they heal.
--Vampires are the “Undead” of the Mythics. They need a healthy dose of blood to survive but it doesn’t matter which kind, animal or human. Although labeled “Undead” by the human populist, they do not stalk around like bats or suck unsuspecting. There is a blood bank funded by the Owners of Rise Academy where, if you really need it, you can get your blood. Vampires can go out into the sun and do not sparkle or blow up but if a Vampire is out in the sun for too long, they are much easily sunburnt. In very few cases do Vampires ‘blow up’ in the sun and sometimes, those are done for theatrics to get certain people of their backs. Vampires have an aura that will either repel you or allure you in.
--Celestians are the opposite of the demons. They are the “angelic” race opposite their blood-sucking cousins. They seem much more graceful and under the correct lighting, a normal human would tell you they saw an angel. In reality, the Human would have seen light bouncing off the illusion placed on the Wings of a Celestial. They are the only Mythic with WINGED flight and they are extremely agile. Celestials seem very graceful and insanely beautiful.
--Demons are the exact opposite to Celestians. They are much darker than their counter-parts and many humans would say that demons do the bidding of the devil. Demons spit at that. They do nothing for anyone unless it’s for themselves or family that they are extremely close to. Some times they do things for others, but only when they’re really close to them or are paid to.
**The last of the children are the MAGICAL. The Magical children are the children who can bend the abnormal, besides their classmates.
--Wizards: Wizards are the children (No matter the gender) that use wands to focus their magical abilites. They’re very Merlin-esque magical children (think Harry Potter)
--Witches: Witches are the children (again, no matter the gender) who don’t need a focus to help their powers; the Wiccan Branch of Magical Children (think Charmed)
--Hunters: Children with the ability to track down exactly who they want, no matter the race. Hunters are the only ones in the world who can evade tracking and most parties of Gifted, Magical and Mythic usually have a Hunter in their group to prevent tracking.
