**General Plotline**
(AU Harry Potter 5th Year Story line)
It is the Year 1995. A new wizarding school, backed by a tremendous amount of funds, is opened in Great Britain and this spells trouble for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The school is named Serpent’s Academy for the Gifted and automatically, the school is written off as a dark school. And yet, more than a quarter of Hogwarts returning and new students as well as students from all across the globe apply immediately into the academy, forgoing the schools they used to attend to attend a new no name school.
Serpent’s Academy is severely different from other schools. Where as schools like Hogwarts and Salem’s Academy for Witches are separated into different houses promoting different traits, Serpents is separated by year, from year 1 to year 7. There are dorms for the students to decide where to stay and those dorms are styled like Hogwarts, complete with a common room. Typically, the years rarely dorm together but it isn’t surprising to see some of the younger students in the older student’s dorms asking for help. Arguments are common within the school but no one is ever severely hurt. The students rarely see eye to eye but there is one thing that is certain.
They all hate Hogwarts with an indescribable passion and no one knows why.
An article is printed by the Quibbler, written by someone under the penname Luna’s Howl, telling of the awful things that had happened to Salazaar Slytherin and of the false lies written history books (See History Section). This causes a riot that nearly knocks the Quibbler out of business only for the Lovegoods to be saved by the least likely of people, Narcissa Malfoy. She takes the Lovegoods into the Malfoy Family’s protective custody and unrest spreads quickly through the Wizarding World.
Words speak of a new rising evil, one that puts Voldemort to shame. And because of this, Voldemort seeks this new evil. But this new evil is hard to find and the only ones who know its location reside in the halls of Serpent’s Academy. And they’re not telling.
It doesn’t stop there. The Noble and Ancient House of Black manor, residing at Grimmauld Place locks out all of the Order of the Phoenix members and the Fidelius Charm had been changed. No one can get in and Albus Dumbledore wants to know exactly why Sirius Black would do such a thing. Then there’s news in the Daily Prophet of Sirius Black being cleared of all charges and that he is Headmaster at Seprent’s.
Now there is a war on many fronts. For Hogwarts and the rest of the Wizarding World, it’s against Voldemort and Serpent’s Academy. For Voldemort, it’s against the Wizarding Wolrd and this new Evil. For Serpent’s Academy, it’s against Hogwarts and Voldemort is nothing big. Will this new evil join forces with Voldemort and take over the Wizarding World? Will Serpent’s Academy be able to work with Hogwarts to take on Voldemort? Will Hogwarts ever learn the truth hidden in the walls of Hogwarts? Where do you stand?
